Our love story didn't kick off in the usual meet-cute way. It all started on Dil Mil, hidden amongst countless swipes. From texting each other here and there to not being able to go a day without talking to each other. After the endless conversations, we finally decided to meet each other months later. Our first real-life encounter happened in the big apple! I gave her a tour of NYC and took her to my favorite spot, Battery Park. As we strolled through the park and went aboard the ferry ride, I finally built the courage to ask her, "Will you be my girlfriend?". (SPOILER ALERT, she said yes!) Shortly after, the world went into quarantine due to COVID. It was a true test for our love as we juggled a long-distance relationship amongst the chaos and the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.

Fast forward two years, we did our coconut ceremony which symbolized that our families have accepted each other. It was a huge day for the both of us filled with love, laughter and a ton of sweets.

After much anticipation, we finally set off on our trip to Colorado. We ventured to witness one of the best hidden gem in Colorado bright and early in the morning (if you know Aayushi, let’s just she is not a morning person haha). However, it was all worth the early morning car ride when she realized why he was in such a rush to get her here. I nervously got down on one knee with my heart pounding and sweaty palms as I asked her to marry me.

Heading towards the Big Day, wedding planning has been a wild mix of fun, excitement, laughs, and a few "are we seriously doing this?" kind of moments. But, through the ups and downs, our love has been our rock keeping us grounded. We're eagerly looking forward to uniting our love, our families and friends in this unforgettable celebration.
