It all started when two people swiped right.

Abby and Nick met during Christmas break back in 2017. Abby was home from Kentucky and was scrolling on the dating app "bumble", when she came across Nick's profile and swiped right and messaged him "Hi". They quickly discovered that they had mutual friends, common interests, and went on their first date together on December 28, 2017 to the movies to see the newest Star Wars.

At the end of Christmas break they decided to try a long distance relationship and Nick started making trips to Lexington, KY to visit Abby and she started making a lot more trips home to Columbus...and it wasn't just to see her family!

Nick finally made it official and asked Abby to be his girlfriend on May 10, 2018. They spent the summer together and did long distance again for their final year of college before Abby moved back to Columbus, OH.

Abby and Nick have shared a lot of large milestones together already! College graduation, navigating new careers, getting their dog, (pride and joy) Cash, in October of 2021, and in April 2023 they closed on their first house together!

After 5.5 years together, Nick asked Abby to marry him on June 17, 2023 at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, OH.

We cannot wait to make it official a year later on June 21, 2024 and become husband and wife!
