Edisto is another of Abbeys favorite beaches. Edisto is one of the least commercially developed beaches around Charleston and has lots of unspoiled coastline.

Edisto has 37 public beach access points along Palmetto Boulevard. Our favorite is beach access 1 near the Edisto Island Beach Welcome Center.

Fort Moultrie is one of the oldest still-standing forts along the eastern seaboard. Abbey's paternal great grandparents spent time at Fort Moultrie and her grandfather grew up on Sullivan's Island.
