Abbey and Bryce met online. Their first date was 5/17/2023 at Trolley Stop. Abbey was sitting out on the back patio when Bryce arrived and sat down across from her. She immediately thought he was cute, but the best part was how friendly and talkative he was. They sat and talked on the patio for a while and then decided to walk over to Dayton Beer Company and check out their patio too. It was one of those dates where you have so much to say and time just flies by.


The pair kept meeting up for fun dates, getting to know each other more, and Bryce asked Abbey to be his girlfriend 2 months after their first date. They went on their first trip that Labor Day weekend to Lake Eerie and Abbey knew that this was something special. Bryce told Abbey he was falling in love with her on the Autumn Equinox at Carrillon Park. It just felt like the best day, a moment you never want to end. 














Their love continued to blossom with shared interests and new experiences. They went to the Dayton Ballet, silent discos, costume parties, concerts, and events around town. They fled the Ohio cold and went to Myrtle Beach in the winter, spent Spring visiting friends in NYC, and had a vacation with Bryce’s family to Niagara Falls in Canada for Fourth of July. On the Autumn Equinox, a year after he had first shared he was falling in love, Bryce asked Abbey for her mom’s blue stone to have set into an engagement ring.


On November 16, 2024 Bryce took Abbey to Ault Park in Cincinnati for their year and a half anniversary. They had a whole Cincinnati day planned. They had a little picnic in the park and then went to walk around the grounds. Abbey told Bryce she would meet him at the top of the steps when he went to put the picnic bag back in the car. He asked her to wait for him to walk up together and she wondered just a little if something was about to happen. They walked hand and hand up the stairs. Abbey was looking out at the view when Bryce called her attention back. He got down on one knee and proposed. It was like a dream. He had secretly hired a photographer as well who caught the whole engagement on her camera. And then they had an engagement photoshoot together! They celebrated after at Krohn’s Conservatory and Scotti’s Italian Restaurant-both admiring the ring in the candlelight while eating the best garlic bread either of them had ever had. It was the perfect day.
