After graduating from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in May 2023, Abbey and her best friend moved to Dallas, TX to begin their postgrad adventure. Tucker, who is a graduate of Baylor University, had been living in Dallas since graduating in 2021. Both Abbey and Tucker were looking for that "forever" relationship but were having a hard time finding and making that connection. After a lot of thought and some much needed motivation from friends, they both created a profile on Hinge, and, as they say, the rest is history! Their first date was at Las Palmas in Dallas which is their favorite Mexican restaurant to this day. They decided to meet the next evening at a local pub for beers and games, and met the next morning for Mass. After a weekend of dates, it was pretty obvious to both of them that they had found their "match". On July 28, 2023, Tucker planned a beautiful evening beginning with a romantic dinner at Perry's in downtown Dallas and ending with their relationship becoming "Facebook Official".

Not long after they started dating, Tucker was offered the opportunity to work for Boston Scientific in Denver, CO. Abbey was accepted into a Physical Therapy Assistant program that brought her back to Central Arkansas. They have been successfully navigating the complexities of a long distance relationship since, including several Arkansas and Colorado visits, FaceTime movie dates, and daily phone calls and texts.

After some crazy and elaborate planning, which would rival the skills of any CIA or MI6 agent, Tucker successfully coordinated his surprise marriage proposal to Abbey on October 26, 2024. It was a mostly private event, except for the two sisters who utilized their stealth, ninja skills to record Abbey's reaction.

And now, here we are planning the wedding and looking forward to what the future has in store for us!
