It all began in 2007 at Midlothian Middle School, where Kit and Abbey ran cross country together. Though we knew of each other, our paths didn’t cross again for another 15 years- during the holiday season at lululemon. From that moment, we quickly became fast friends.

Abbey was Kit’s boss at lululemon—a detail she loves to remind him about. During that time, she even persuaded him to try spin classes, yoga, and barre workouts. After the holidays, Kit headed to Florida for spring training in February. But when COVID-19 hit in 2020, he was sent back to Midlothian, where, coincidentally, we were both living just 10 minutes apart with our families.

During those months of isolation we spent almost every day together—working out, hiking, and playing Mexican Train. Fast forward five years: countless baseball games, three new homes, a puppy, a newfound passion for running, and a move to Florida later, and we couldn’t be happier together!!
