Cameron and Abbey met in 2017 through mutual friends. Abbey's best friend 's brother is friends with Cameron. We all met out one night at a Downtown Music festival in Springfield, IL. Interestingly, Cam and Abbey both grew up and lived in Springfield, IL, but by the time we had actually met, Abbey was living in St. Louis pursuing her Pediatric Residency. Cam was about to head home for the night, but says that as soon as he went to open his car door, he had a gut feeling to go back inside and ask if Abbey would like a ride home. The rest was history. Our very second time together was him coming to visit in St. Louis. Cam has showed such commitment from the beginning as Abbey continues down the path of her dream career as a Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist. The process has required moves to new cities and a lot of unknowns. Cam moved to St. Louis and now Birmingham, Alabama to help Abbey fulfill her dream. We have still been able to be close with our friends and families while continuing to create wonderful memories. Cameron proposed on July 9th, 2021. We are so excited to get married back in our hometown and invite all of those we have met along our journey to join in our special day!
