Our Wedding

Devin and I met in August of 2023 on a dating app, and little did we know, that swipe right would change everything! After two weeks of texting and talking on the phone, we decided to meet in person. On September 15, we went to Bowling World for our first date. We managed to bowl two games in what felt like 20 minutes—mainly because we were both so nervous. Neither of us wanted the night to end, so we decided to go play mini golf. When that was over, Devin drove me back to my car. Then came the awkward moment . . . he didn’t hug me! We sat there for what felt like forever, both of us waiting for the other to make a move. If you ask Devin, he’ll tell you he didn’t think I was into him. If you ask me, I thought the same thing about him. But we both knew there was something there and we kept talking. A few weeks later, after seven more dates, Devin (finally) asked me to be his girlfriend on October 21. From the very start, I knew Devin was different in the best possible way. The next year was filled with growth, laughter, and plenty of memories. When we started dating, I was knee-deep in nursing school and let’s just say it wasn’t always a fun ride. Devin stuck by me through it all, always supporting me, even on the hardest days. If he could handle me during nursing school, I knew he could handle anything! One year after asking me to be his girlfriend, Devin took me back to Bowling World to recreate our first date. As I was finishing my last frame, I turned around to find him on one knee, asking me to marry him. Without hesitation, I said yes! Devin is my best friend and looking back, signing up for that dating app was one of the best decisions I ever made. I can’t wait to call him my husband and spend the rest of my life loving him!

There are several hotels in the area that you can consider. The Courtyard by Marriott was willing to give us a block rate and is, in our opinion, the most direct/less traffic location. We encourage you to check out airbnb and VrBo properties in the area. Bentonville/Centerton are the closest cities to the venue, but Bella Vista and Rogers are worth looking at as well.
