Due to venue size restrictions and Mason and I's wishes for a small intimate wedding with our closest friends and family, we are restricting plus ones to only those who have it included on their invitation. Thank you for respecting our wishes on this!

You are welcome to wear whatever you are most comfortable in! It will be an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception (with A/C) so dress for the weather. Bright colors, sundresses, and khakis are just some recommendations! The bridal party is wearing blue.

Gifts are super appreciated as we start this next chapter of our lives but of course, your presence is most important to us. A link to our registry is included on this site however money towards our honeymoon fund would be preferred.

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure that there are no distractions. If you are running late and the ceremony has already started, we ask that you wait on the patio until it concludes.

There are two wedding spaces at Blue Heron so we expect that there will be two weddings going on the night of our wedding. Our wedding is in the smaller of the two spaces, the Heron Room. There will be a sign outside showing you which door to go in but head toward the north side of the building for easy access.

Yes! We have a hotel block at Holiday Inn Express Medina. You can call and mention the Staats/Docherty wedding or visit the hotel tab for a direct link. There will also be a complimentary shuttle taking you from the hotel to the venue and back at the end of the night. Make sure you book your room by May 28!
