Abbie and Andrew met during their freshman and junior year through good friend Jake Flynn. The next year involved a lot of “studying” (aka wine Wednesday’s, river parties, excessive fireball, etc.) then led into being workout buddies until eventually “dating”.

Fast forward through college both Andrew and Abbie graduated with Industrial Engineering degrees. Andrew went to work for BoxLogix in Prairie du Chien, WI and Abbie started working for Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI. Long distance lasted for 3 years because as friends and family know both Abbie and Andrew are quite stubborn. During that 3 year span an energetic and equally stubborn Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Beau joined the mix and Abbie said yes to marry Andrew at Effigy Mounds on a cold December morning.

In July of 2023 Abbie moved to Marquette, IA to live with Andrew and Beau. Once moved together life slowed down a bit with no more long distance, no undiscussed house purchases, no trips, and no undiscussed dog purchases. That apparently was boring so it was decided to purchase a house in Monona, Iowa to add some more excitement on top of wedding planning.

Abbie and Andrew look forward to September so we can share another chapter in “our story” with our closest friends and family.
