We met while working for a baby food company in Fremont, Michigan. We joined a trivia team at the local bar - The Blind Squirrel. We were just friends, but coworkers and fellow trivia team members thought there was potential for more.

Abbie moved away from Michigan. We remained acquaintances and kept in touch via the occasional text message. We both thought we just let "The One" get away.

Joey worked up enough courage to tell Abbie how he felt. Lucky for him, Abbie reciprocated. We had our doubts anything would come out of it since we lived 6 hours apart, but agreed to meet up for a weekend.

Due to world events, our initial meet-up was slightly postponed. With the uncertainty of the times, Joey couldn't let his window close again - He visited Abbie in Columbus and his weekend visit turned into a 3 week quarantine.

Abbie moved to Chicago! We were not prepared for a day of sightseeing in the brisk wind so we bought these hats at the closest CVS. It is the only hat that fits Joey's unusually large head!

Joey proposed to Abbie on a walk around Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. Per usual, Nelson was aloof and just wanted to swim.
