Typically the more affordable airport to fly into, the big airport is about 30 minutes to downtown Fort Worth and the Stockyards.

DFW's Southwest Airlines hub, Dallas Love Field is closer to downtown Dallas and about 45 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and the Stockyards.

There are countless restaurants, shops, western activities and history throughout the Fort Worth Stockyards. We love walking around Mule Alley and Stockyard Station, stopping in the Cowtown Coliseum where they host rodeo events, and exploring the western shops, Saloons and authentic cowtown steakhouses on Exchange Avenue. Make sure to also check out the John Wayne museum! There are no open container laws, so enjoy a drink as you explore :)

Fort Worth Stockyards

See the Old West come to life with the&nbsp;world’s only twice-daily cattle drive. Real Texas cowhands lead a herd of legendary longhorns down East Exchange in&nbsp;the Stockyards&nbsp;at&nbsp;11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.&nbsp;It’s&nbsp;free for all, and every detail, from the drovers’ saddles and chaps to their boots and hats, embodies authentic Texas heritage.&nbsp;

Fort Worth Herd

The World's Largest Honky Tonk! Located in the Stockyards, Cole and Abbie have been to several country concerts at Billy Bob's. They typically have ticketed concerts at on the weekends, but you can go in before 5:00 for a small cover. Many legendary musicians have played there, and it's full of memorabilia. Highly recommend for a one-of-a-kind Texas Honky Tonk experience!

Cowtown Coliseum is located right in the heart of the Stockyards and hosts year round rodeo events! For those staying Saturday, this would be a great activity.

Stockyards Championship Rodeo

An iconic and authentic Tex-Mex restaurant located not far from the Stockyards. Cole and Abbie don't miss an opportunity to share fajitas and margaritas on the sprawling patio. Be prepared to wait during peak hours (unfortunately no reservations), but grab a margarita to help pass the time if there is a line! CASH ONLY!!

If you're looking for a steakhouse in the Stockyards, this is your place! Fun Fact: Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan helped invest in the restaurant's recent renovations and the eatery is frequently shown on Landman season 2!
