Once upon a time, amidst the rolling hills of Sewanee: The University of the South, two souls crossed paths during freshman orientation in 2016. Sam and Abbie found themselves living in the same dorm, Ayres, where their friendship began. Sam fondly recalls his early attempt at a formal invitation, only to be met with Abbie's polite decline due to prior commitments. Little did he know, her heart whispered a different story, secretly longing for another chance. It wasn't until junior year, amidst the spirited festivities of Shake Day and Theta Pi crush formals, that their friendship started to grow even more. A few days later, over breakfast at Hardee's, Sam gathered his courage and asked Abbie to be his girlfriend. Ever the practical soul, Abbie's response was a unique blend of humor and tradition. "Can I see your phone?" she asked, dialing her father's number and handing the phone to Sam. Wade, her father, had but one rule: Sam must present Abbie with special flowers. Not just any flowers, mind you, but ones that held meaning. With Wade's blessing in mind, Sam embarked on a quest to find the perfect blooms, settling on daffodils nestled within an empty Maker's Mark bottle. It was with this heartfelt gesture that Sam officially won Abbie's heart. Their journey from Sewanee led them through the winding roads of long-distance love, from Augusta to Athens, with their faithful feline companion, Duckie, by their side. Through the highs and lows, their bond grew stronger, weaving a tapestry of love, laughter, and shared dreams. And now, as they stand on the threshold of forever, Sam and Abbie invite you to join them as they embark on the greatest adventure of all – marriage. Together, they look forward to creating new memories, cherishing old traditions, and writing the next chapter of their love story, surrounded by the warmth and love of their cherished friends and family. The Sewanee Memorial Cross sits in a wooded area on the edge of a bluff on the campus of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.sewanee.edu/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The University of the South</a>&nbsp;in Sewanee, Tennessee. Sitting on the Cumberland plateau overlooking the Franklin County valley, it was constructed in August 1922 as a memorial to all who died in "The war to end all wars."

There are many good restaurants in Chattanooga.

Rock City Gardens

The distillery is in a dry county in the quaint town of Lynchburg.&nbsp;Tours are very enjoyable and offer samples of the product.
