Our Wedding

We first met as teenagers through mutual friends and quickly became part of each other’s lives. Even when life took us in different directions—Abbie heading off to university in Newcastle and Connor staying in Northern Ireland—we remained close friends. It wasn’t until Abbie’s second year of uni that we both realised it was more than friendship. With covid restrictions in place, our early “dates” were far from glamorous—long walks in Randalstown Forest and Antrim Castle Gardens, and the occasional McDonald’s drive-through. Simple moments, but ones that made us certain about each other. When Abbie moved back to Northern Ireland after uni, our relationship only grew stronger. In August 2023, Connor proposed at the Slieve Russell Hotel, and we began the next chapter of our journey together. By summer 2025, we had become homeowners and started building our future side by side. Now, we’re so excited to be planning our wedding for October 2026, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you—the family and friends who have been part of our story from the very beginning.
