Our Love Story

Thomas and Abby met on one fateful day in December, 2023 when on almost successive days he caddied for Abby's sister, Abby herself and Abby's mother. It was immediate that the sparks flew for them both, but of course nothing could really be discussed right there on the golf course. Thanks to a helping hand from one of Thomas' friends he plucked up the courage to ask her on a date. Just as they were on three successive rounds of golf together they then went on three consecutive dates. That third date solidified it for them that this was something worth pursuing. After several months of going back and forth between Naples, Scotland and Chicago they moved in together this past fall in Naples, back where it all began! On November 18th about eleven months after they met, Thomas took Abby back to the spot of their third date and asked her to marry him. She said YES!

Just a quick note about travel. It might be a good idea to book travel insurance in the unlikely event of a hurricane. Mid-October is past the main hurricane season, but there is always that chance. A more boutique version of the Ritz. Naples has a lovely downtown called "Old Naples" with several shops and restaurants. There are two main areas, one being 5th Avenue South and the other 3rd Street (with cross streets being 12th Ave South). Most of the restaurants listed below are in these two areas.

If you're in North Naples, this is a public access point for the beach.
