We met in the third grade at Madison Ridgeland Academy. We were both in Mrs. Susan Peoples’ class. One day in third grade art class, he asked her (Abby) to be his girlfriend. She told him no and that she needed to ask her mom first. The next day, she came back and told him (Bryce) that her mom said no. Many years later in 2019, we became super close and talked all the time. By the time summer of 2019 rolled around, it was obvious to us both that we were more than friends. August 5, 2019, Bryce asked me to be his girlfriend. The rest is history! We had no clue the blessings and love that the Lord had in store for us both. On September 1, 2024, Bryce pulled off the most amazing surprise proposal at the Rose Garden in Starkville, MS. The proposal was followed by a party filled with our closest friends and family, and it was the most joyful night. August 5, 2025 will be our 6 year dating anniversary AND our 1 month wedding anniversary! We are so blessed with wonderful families and in-laws, and we cannot wait to see what all the Lord has in store for us in marriage!
