Our love story begins (crazily enough) at the very beginning of the pandemic! During those initial few weeks of lockdown, Jamie was swiping away on the dating app "Hinge". He had given himself 24 more hours on the app before he was going to delete it off his phone, when he ran across Abby's profile and liked a picture of her in front of M&T Bank Stadium rooting on her favorite NFL team, the Cincinnati Bengals (who dey!). They began chatting on April 1, 2020 and had their first date in Abby's apartment a few weeks later.

Later in May 2020, Abby and Jamie were able to have their first "outside" date at Mediterranean Cellars in Warrenton, VA, which was just prior to Jamie getting his COVID haircut (picture evidence of the fro is above). This was the beginning of many many more winery dates to come! On June 19, 2020, Jamie asked Abby to be his girlfriend on the rooftop at Dudley's in Shrlington, VA 🩷

After almost 4 years of dating and 2 years of living together, it was the perfect time to take the next step as a couple! Jamie and Abby planned a short trip to Northern California, which involved flying into San Francisco and then driving up to Napa Valley the next day. On the morning of March 14, 2024, Abby and Jamie went to a park that overlooked the Golden Gate Bridge. It was at that park that Jamie got down on one knee and asked Abby to spend the rest of her life with him, with her quickly providing a very easy "YES" as the answer!

As you can see from the photo, the ring was a few sizes too small at the time of the proposal, but we quickly got that fixed 😂

We are so excited to have our family and friends with us to celebrate entering this next chapter of our lives! See you on June 28, 2025!
