Initial Meeting

Since they both went to Hanover College, they knew of each other while they were there, but did not spend much time together.

The Connection

In 2022, their friends Mark and Claire got married in Hanover and they hit it off after he bought her a beer at the wedding and she brought tacos and pizza to the bar.

Building the Relationship

They started seeing each other right after the wedding and found fun ways to spend time together. Those included:

- Playing Keno at Roosters

- Having beers at Little Miami Brewing

- Bowling at Pin Deck

Falling in Love

As they grew closer, they met each others families and began taking fun trips together where they started to realize they loved each other. These included:

- Going to UC games in the fall

- A trip to Chicago

- Cheering on the Cyclones

- Abby's Birthday trip to Vegas

- Going to Reds games

- Cruises over Spring Break

- Florida trips to the Meszaros Condo

Moving In and Getting Engaged

In May of 2024, they moved in together and went on a trip to Florida with their parents to wrap up the school year. An engagement was on Abby's brain, but never happened in Florida. Little did she know Josh was planning it for the day they got back!

On May 31st, Josh took Abby to dinner and convinced her to grab a beer at Little Miami Brewing before hand. He pulled off the surprise, got down on one and asked her to marry him! She said YES before turning around to see so many of their favorite people waiting to celebrate with them.

The Wedding

They are now excited to have ALL of their favorite people join them as they celebrate their wedding in July of 2025!
