Our Wedding

Abby&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jason’s&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;began&nbsp;in&nbsp;2018,&nbsp;during&nbsp;their&nbsp;junior&nbsp;and&nbsp;senior&nbsp;year&nbsp;of&nbsp;high&nbsp;school.&nbsp;Soon&nbsp;after&nbsp;Abby's&nbsp;graduation,&nbsp;the&nbsp;two&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;big&nbsp;step&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;moving&nbsp;to&nbsp;Ankeny&nbsp;in&nbsp;2020,&nbsp;where&nbsp;Abby&nbsp;was&nbsp;starting&nbsp;college.&nbsp;In&nbsp;2021&nbsp;they&nbsp;settled&nbsp;into&nbsp;their&nbsp;very&nbsp;first&nbsp;apartment&nbsp;together&nbsp;in&nbsp;The&nbsp;Ankeny&nbsp;District,&nbsp;just&nbsp;a&nbsp;short&nbsp;distance&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;venue&nbsp;where&nbsp;the&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;held. &nbsp;In&nbsp;2023,&nbsp;Abby&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;bought&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;home&nbsp;in&nbsp;Des&nbsp;Moines,&nbsp;creating&nbsp;a&nbsp;cozy&nbsp;space&nbsp;they&nbsp;now&nbsp;share&nbsp;with&nbsp;their&nbsp;beloved&nbsp;fur&nbsp;babies:&nbsp;Beans,&nbsp;Chandler,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;ever-energetic&nbsp;Fred.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;bond&nbsp;grew&nbsp;deeper&nbsp;through&nbsp;late-night&nbsp;horror&nbsp;movie&nbsp;marathons,&nbsp;long&nbsp;walks&nbsp;with&nbsp;Fred,&nbsp;and&nbsp;experimenting&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;kitchen&nbsp;as&nbsp;they&nbsp;learned&nbsp;to&nbsp;cook. In&nbsp;October&nbsp;2024,&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;planned&nbsp;a&nbsp;spooky&nbsp;surprise.&nbsp;Knowing&nbsp;Abby’s&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;things&nbsp;Halloween,&nbsp;he&nbsp;took&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;haunted&nbsp;house,&nbsp;where&nbsp;under&nbsp;the&nbsp;looming&nbsp;shadow&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;giant&nbsp;skeleton&nbsp;he&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;and&nbsp;proposed.&nbsp;She&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes,&nbsp;surrounded&nbsp;by&nbsp;chills,&nbsp;laughter,&nbsp;and&nbsp;love. Now&nbsp;engaged&nbsp;and&nbsp;building&nbsp;a&nbsp;life&nbsp;filled&nbsp;with&nbsp;warmth,&nbsp;quirks,&nbsp;and&nbsp;shared&nbsp;dreams,&nbsp;Abby&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jason&nbsp;are&nbsp;writing&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;story—one&nbsp;filled&nbsp;with&nbsp;joy,&nbsp;companionship,&nbsp;and&nbsp;just&nbsp;the&nbsp;right&nbsp;amount&nbsp;of&nbsp;spooky&nbsp;fun.
