Our Wedding

OUR STORY

Zach and I first crossed paths in high school at Saddleback Valley Christian Schools in 2017. Our group of friends quickly brought us together, and we became best friends. It wasn’t until February 2018 that our friendship blossomed into something more, and Zach became my first boyfriend. High school was a time of endless adventures. We spent our days at the beach with friends, enjoyed trips with family, and went on countless movie dates—our very first date was at the movies. Those moments laid the foundation for our love story. Since then, we’ve celebrated numerous milestones together. From graduating high school and soon college, to adopting pets and landing our first full-time jobs, we’ve navigated this world hand in hand. Fast forward through six wonderful years filled with laughter and unforgettable memories, and here we are—engaged! We couldn’t be more excited for May 15th to arrive, and we feel incredibly blessed to share this special milestone with all of you. Here's to high school sweethearts and a lifetime of love and adventure!

Parking

Parking InstructionsWhen traveling from E Mission Road, turn right onto Woodland Parkway. You’ll quickly spot a brown and white "Wedding Parking" sign with an arrow pointing to the right. Follow the sign and park along the left row of spots.If all spots are taken, continue straight and turn right along the curve past the white fence on your right. You’ll find additional parking along the right side. Entering the VenueThe entrance to the venue is closest to the first set of parking spots. You’ll see a pergola that leads up a path directly to our ceremony location. If you're being dropped off by Uber or Lyft, have your driver drop you near the pergola. Handicapped ParkingFor handicapped parking, make the last right-hand turn before the light at the intersection of E Mission Road and Woodland Parkway. Continue straight to the back, where you'll see a slight left up a hill next to a white fence. Keep going to the top of the venue, where you’ll find two handicapped parking spots on your left.If both spots are taken, we recommend having someone drop you off at the top, then park your car down below.

AIRPORT OPTIONS

There are several different options for our guests who are visiting from out of state (we're so happy you're making the trip!). San Diego International Airport (SAN) A 37 minute drive from our venue. A 1-hour drive from San Clemente. San Diego Airport is definitely the most convenient airport to fly into. San Diego is a budget friendly alternative to John Wayne. If you are staying in areas like San Clemente or Dana Point, it's an extremely easy drive, despite the long duration (just hop on the 5 and head North). Plus, you'll be driving right along the ocean the entire time, so it's much more enjoyable. John Wayne Airport (SNA) A 55-minute drive from our venue.A 30- minute drive from San Clemente.John Wayne Airport is an excellent choice for your arrival. It's closer than LAX and a great option if you're looking to avoid the hustle of larger airports. If you're staying near San Marcos or North County, it's a straightforward drive (just take the 5 South and then connect to the 78 East). The journey is smooth and scenic, taking you through the heart of Orange County, making it a stress-free option for our out-of-town guests. Long Beach Airport (LGB)A 1-hour and 10-minute drive from our venue.A 45-minute drive from San Clemente.Long Beach Airport is a smaller, hassle-free option for travelers. It’s a bit further than John Wayne, but it offers a relaxed travel experience without the crowds of larger airports. Flights into here tend to be cheaper than those to SNA. If you’re staying in Orange County or around San Marcos, it’s a simple drive down the 405 South, then connect to the 5 South and the 78 East. The route is very straightforward!

IF YOU'D LIKE TO STAY IN ABBY'S HOMETOWN...

📍San Clemente

Since you're coming all the way to California for a day or two, there's no better place to stay than right on the coast! Abby is from sunny San Clemente, a little Spanish village by the sea, which has plenty of lodging options within 5 minutes of some of the beaches where she grew up. They'll give you the whole experience, with the best downtown shopping strip, incredible coastal restaurants, and all the sand and sea you could ask for.

Only 40 miles - a 40 minute drive - from our venue.The Holiday Inn Express is right down the street from the San Clemente Outlets - a great stop for a bite to eat or a day of shopping. It sits right on the outskirts of downtown with easy access to the ocean and surrounded by several beach hiking trails.

Only 37 miles - a 38 minute drive - from our venue.The Hampton Inn and Suites is another great San Clemente option, with easy access to Del Mar street for some downtown shopping (be sure to stop by South Swell!) and the Pier for a few beautiful sunsets or morning walks.

📍Dana Point 

For those of you looking to stay by the coast, Dana Point is a fantastic option. These hotels are about a 40-minute drive from our wedding venue in San Marcos and offer the perfect mix of beach vibes and easy access to the celebration. You'll be right near the ocean for morning walks, sunset views, or a quick dip, while still being close enough to make the drive inland for our big day. Plus, Dana Point Harbor and its charming shops and restaurants are just minutes away, making your stay extra special!

Only 44 miles - a 46-minute drive - from our venue.The Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Dana Point is a wonderful coastal option, with easy access to the harbor for whale watching tours and the scenic Bluff Top Trail for sunset walks. The hotel is also near the Lantern District, perfect for boutique shopping and great dining options. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy the ocean while staying relatively close to our celebration.

For those wanting to stay closer to the venue while still enjoying a coastal retreat, Carlsbad is an ideal option. Just a 20-minute drive from our wedding venue in San Marcos, Carlsbad offers beautiful beaches, scenic walking trails, and charming spots like Carlsbad Village. Whether you want to spend your day relaxing by the ocean, exploring local shops, or enjoying great restaurants, Carlsbad has it all. You’ll be close enough to the venue for a quick, easy drive while still soaking up the beachside atmosphere.

Only 11 miles - a 24 minute drive - from our venue.The Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara is a beautiful coastal escape, located near the tranquil Batiquitos Lagoon, ideal for scenic walks and nature spotting. Just a short drive from the pristine Carlsbad beaches, it offers easy access to seaside fun and the charm of Carlsbad Village. It's a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation for those looking to unwind during their stay.

📍San Marcos

For those of you who want to stay as close as possible to our wedding venue, San Marcos is the perfect choice. There are several great hotel options just minutes away, so you’ll be right near the action without any long drives. You’ll also have easy access to local restaurants, shops, and scenic spots like Double Peak Park. While it’s a bit further from the coast, you can still head to the beach in about 30 minutes for some seaside relaxation. Staying in San Marcos means you’ll be close to everything, including our big day!
