Trent and Abby have known each other since their middle school and high school church days in Leesburg, Georgia. With Trent being three years older, they didn’t really connect back then, but they were familiar faces at church camps and events. Fast forward to a Christmas visit home during Abby’s college years in Savannah, and everything changed. Trent was still in their hometown of Leesburg, and fate brought them back together. They had their first date shortly after, and it turned out to be one they’d never forget. What started as a simple lunch at Roman Oven extended into a coffee shop visit because neither of them wanted the date to end. Their relationship began long-distance, with both making the four-hour drive between Savannah and Leesburg almost every other week. Despite the late-night drives and long hours on the road, they always found it worth the effort to be together. Eventually, Trent decided to move to Savannah so they could be closer and build their lives together in the city they both loved. Even after Abby graduated from college, they couldn't bring themselves to leave Savannah. The charm and beauty of the city made it the perfect place for them. A special part of their journey has been their two cats, Junie and Willow. Initially, Trent wasn’t much of a cat person, but Junie quickly won him over. Abby even convinced him to adopt Willow soon after. Now, he’s completely smitten with them and even greets the cats before he greets Abby when coming home from work. They’ve become an integral part of their little family, adding so much joy to their daily lives. Despite having different hobbies—Trent with his disc golf obsession and Abby with her love for photography— they found common ground in their passion for travel. Together, they've explored Yosemite, soaked up the sun in Hawaii, wandered the streets of New York, roamed the hills of Gatlinburg, and even indulged in gelato in Italy. Each adventure added a new chapter to their story. The proposal was a perfect end to a normal day. After Abby returned from photographing a wedding, she found Trent had set up a surprise in their apartment. With rose petals on the floor, their favorite song playing, and a "Marry me?" sign, it was a simple yet heartfelt moment that marked the next step in their journey together.

Our Story

Simona is one of Abby's dearest and best photographer friends! From shooting weddings together, to hosting photography retreats in Milan and Lake Como, they've done it all. Simona is always down for a photo shoot or a coffee shop/brunch day with Abby. Although Simona lives in Italy with a 6 hour time difference, they still make time to chat practically every day-- even if only through shared TikToks.

Simona

One of Abby's very first and very best friends in Savannah! They met while working at an escape room/bar downtown. They share a love of travel and went on a cross country roadtrip together back in 2021. They slept in Bailey's car, stayed in a teepee one night, and even almost got lost on a snowy mountain (but that's a story for another day). They saw Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Utah, & more. All in two weeks in a Honda Civic.

Bailey

Lexi is Abby's built-in best friend from birth! She is Abby's first cousin, but more like a sister. From growing up down the road from each other, to getting in trouble at their grandparents house for not going to bed on time, they've been attached at the hip since childhood. When they weren't arguing as children, they were usually getting into trouble somewhere (be sure to ask Lexi about the bug spray situation). Now, Lexi is the best mama in the world to Beau, and Abby is a just cat mom. Nonetheless, when they get together for holidays, its always a party.

Lexi

Lacie is one of Abby's earliest and best friends from middle school. They worked their first job together at an after-school daycare. And rest assured, almost every afternoon their shift was over, you could always find them at Chick-fil-A. Whether Abby & Lacie were babysitting, running errands, or simply riding down the road listening to music-- they always had a great time together. Even now, living cities apart, they are always catching up with TikToks or Snapchats.

Maggie has been a very early friend and a ride-or-die from the start. In yearbook together from middle school all the way to high school, Abby & Maggie were always at after-school events together. Even if it was a sports game they didn't really understand, they were always there taking photos together. Now living across the country in Seattle, Maggie still makes time for catch-up phone calls with Abby, even if just to chat about their cats to each other.

Joel is Trent's brother and best friend in one. They love playing disc golf together and try to make it happen at least once a week. They share a love for the outdoors, sports, and working out. Since Joel moved to Savannah, Trent has spent a lot more time with him and is so grateful to be in the same city as his brother again. 

Joel

Trent first met Corey in high school. They bonded over mutual friends and playing the same video games. They always stayed connected over their games, but recently Corey moved near Savannah and now they have lots more time to hang out. Whether it be disc golf or playing pool, they always a have a good time. 

Corey

Tyler is one of Trent's longest friends from meeting at Chick-fil-A, where they both used to work together in high school. They bonded over common interests and have stayed connected over the years, even now that Tyler is living in Virginia. They always try to make time to hop on a game or two together and catch up.

Tyler

Matthew is Abby's brother and Trent's soon to be brother in law. From the many vacations they've taken together and from visiting Leesburg often, Trent and Matthew have become closer and more like brothers. Although it's hard with the distance, Trent and Abby always try to make at least a few of his baseball games a year.

Matthew

Trent met Isaak while playing disc golf at Tom Triplett Park in Savannah. Isaak and Trent immediately hit it and off and quickly became close friends. They both bonded over their love for sports and the outdoors. You can always find them playing at a disc golf course somewhere in Savannah.
