At our engagement photo session, our photographer told us that there would be donkeys. She also assured us that the donkeys wouldn't mess with us. Scooter had other plans! Scooter loved photobombing our pictures and tried his best to get in every photo. After taking our pictures, we laughed and started telling people about Scooter. Someone told us that some donkeys have a cross shape in the fur on their back. After getting our pictures back, we noticed that Scooter is one of those donkeys. What a sweet reminder of the gospel! We have prayed since the beginning that Jesus would be the foundation and the center of our relationship. We serve a God who is intentional and kind to bless us with this gift of marriage and to remind us of the gift of the gospel through Scooter!
