Can I bring a date?
Due to our budget and venue space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out you "(Your Name & Your Guest's Name)" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for your understanding!
Can we bring our children?
While we would love to see your kiddos, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception and adult-only event. The only exception to this are ones in our bridal party. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!
Is there a dress code?
We would love our family and friends to dress up with us! Our preferred dress is cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. Please refrain from wearing white, shades of white, or any floral pattern with white as the base!
What happens if i do not RSVP in time?
If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "Not Attending". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to our vendors in a timely manner. For this reason, we cannot accept late RSVPs.
What should I do if I cannot attend?
Your presence will surely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Not Attending" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you previously RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you can no longer attend, please notify Ronna Herman at 412-855-8688.
What time does the ceremony start?
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to allow time for parking and to find a seat.
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony and reception are both taking place at Arbor at the Port. When arriving at the venue, feel free to park anywhere and enter on the pier side of the building! There will be signs directing you. The ceremony and reception will both be indoors, however, during cocktail hour there will be an outdoor space for you to enjoy!
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO/FROM THE HOTEL?
A shuttle will provide round trip service. There is limited space on the shuttle so there will be multiple trips. The trips will take about 20 minutes in each directions so please plan accordingly! If you wish to leave earlier than the shuttle please arrange alternative transportation.
