Isaac and Derek really started connecting after a missions trip together, and soon after connected with Abby. Isaac is both Abby’s and Derek’s best friend, and is pursuing his PhD in Physics in Switzerland.

Kennidy and Abby met in their freshman year at UofM and have been roommates and best friends since sophomore year. Kennidy will be graduating UofM with a degree in Biology.

John met Derek through the marching band and became close by being in the same hall in Markley. John and Derek were roommates and still very good friends. John is a software developer at Epic.

Mia is Abby’s favorite (and only) sister. She lives in Colorado and is preparing to go to school to become a missionary midwife.

Dekota met Derek at his church and have been in the same small group since 2020. They really got to know each other because of their mutual incessant need to play more games. In Fall 2023 they were also small group leaders together. Dekota is currently pursuing his PhD in Materials Science.

Julia and Abby met in youth group in high school and have been the closest of friends since. Julia will be attending Colorado Christian University to pursue a degree in Psychology.

Justin and Derek have been in the same small group in college, where they spent much time together and growing closer together. Justin is working as a Mechanical Engineer.

Once Lily had met Derek, she also became fast friends with Abby. The three of us (along with Isaac and Dekota) all played in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign together and became quite close. Lily will be graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
