The beach is about 25 minutes from Downtown Savannah! Take advantage!

It's huge and fun and provides tons of room for spikeball (duh), volleyball, football, frisbee. One lap around is approx 1 mile, so it's a good place to jog as well. There is street parking all around the park or there is a free parking lot at the south end of the park by the tennis courts. (Downtown Savannah)

This is the first of the main "shopping" streets in Downtown Savannah (the next one parallel to it is Bay street and then after Bay is the famous River Street--pretty touristy but whatever floats your boat)...Broughton has lots of boutiques and all the big name stores/restaurants like Starbucks, Gap, Panera, Anne Taylor, Free People, and Anthropologie.
