Semi-formal/dressy casual! Zach might show up in shorts, but Abby is more hesitant, so aim for somewhere in between! Zach recommends your "Sunday wear", which could include a button-up short-sleeve and dress pants or a nice sundress/jumpsuit, but Abby says you can go nicer if you want. :)

"Who knows, its August - but probably hot." - Zach. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held underneath a covered patio outside of the reception space. The reception space is climate-controlled and indoors.

The wedding ceremony will start at 4pm and the parking lot is not far from that area, so please try to be on time! We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the ceremony in order to allow everyone to be seated for the start of the event. A cocktail hour will be held immediately after the ceremony with a reception to follow.

There is a large parking area located on the venue property right as you enter the space. People will be around to direct traffic and make sure everyone finds a spot. In the unlikely event of overflow, shuttles will be available from another area to get everyone to the ceremony.

Unfortunately, due to a strict budget we must restrict our guest list to those included on your invitation.

While we do not have any specific hotel blocks booked, there are many hotels in the Harrisonburg area available for booking for those coming from out of town! Please be aware that the James Madison University move-in weekend is the same weekend as our wedding, so if you need to book a hotel or AirBnb we recommend you book in advance.
