After they met in Nashville the month before, Abby got up the courage to ask Jake to her sorority's formal which was Great Gatsby themed. The first date was a fun one!

They started dating the following semester and loved going to Mizzou basketball/football games and hanging out with friends while they both finished their degrees.

Abby received a job with Cerner Corporation in Kansas City and moved to the Plaza area in February while Jake finished his accounting masters and received a job with Ernst and Young. Both would now officially be in the same city outside of school!

They enjoyed their time in Kansas City and also traveled together often, including Fort Myers, Denver, Hot Springs and Key West!

Mocha joined their little family during quarantine! Their sweet pup keeps them busy and makes things fun.

On a family vacation to Table Rock Lake with Abby's family, Jake proposed by the lake with fireworks to follow that night. Jake's parents even surprised the two down in Branson! The fun has only begun! To be continued...
