The lead up to our proposal took many years, but the process of getting engaged happened quickly. As we grew closer and closer, it became quite obvious we were meant to be together. Marriage was the next step, and a ring was needed. As Abby turned her attention onto her health, I focused on that final detail. One evening, at our home, i asked her to spend the rest of her life with me- and she said yes.

The origin of our relationship dates all the way back to 2006: when two teenagers locked eyes across the band room. A daring young Abby asked a rather bashful young Ezra if he would like to play Guitar Hero on PlayStation 2. Enthusiastically, he said yes. After 17 years of living life, in between, he asked her to marry him, and she said yes !
