What is the dress code for the wedding?
Black tie optional. We would love to see you all get dressed up with us! We ask that men wear a tuxedo or dark colored suit with a necktie and women wear a floor length evening gown or tea length evening gown. Please no jeans, khakis or sneakers.
Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories and creams.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
Can my children come?
We love your children but this will be an adult (21+) only ceremony and reception.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Arriving to the venue at least 30 minutes early is a great idea to be sure you're able to find the venue, get parked and settle in before it begins. Everyone should be in their seats at 5:00.
Where should we park?
Ellis Preserve has plenty of onsite parking right outside of and around the venue! If you are staying at the A/C Marriott Hotel it is a 0.2 mile walk to the venue.
Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Yes! Both will take place at the Ellis Preserve Ballroom in Newtown Square.
Can I take photos/ videos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographers will be capturing the ceremony, and we don't want any phones in our photos!
Is the venue indoor or outdoor?
Indoor! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We will have a full bar supplying unlimited drinks all night long!
If I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
We have a block of rooms at the Marriott Hotel right across the street. The link to our block of rooms is under the Travel section. If you would like another option there is a Hilton Hotel very close as well!
When is the deadline to RSVP?
Please let us know if you will attend by July 25, 2025.
What happens if I don't RSVP on time?
If we do not get an RSVP back by the date we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us. However, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope that you understand!
What if I can't make it?
Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "No, sorry to miss it!" If you RSVP'd attending, but find out that you can no longer make it, please notify Abby or Jimmy.
