<p>Grant and Abby matched on Bumble on April 28, 2024. After multiple years of being single, Abby was ready to meet her person. Grant, unfamiliar to dating apps, swiped right into her life. After a bold double message from Grant, Abby finally responded and they quickly bonded over their excitement to build a family and mutual love of books. Their first date was in the District in Ankeny. What is traditionally one to two hours, Abby and Grant's first date lasted six hours. They met for drinks, walked around the pond, went to dinner, and ended with board games. Every step from there felt completely natural and with perfect chemistry.</p>
