We were in the same group of friends that would always throw birthday parties for our friends. This is one of those many times.

By this point we had talked about "getting to know each other better" before, but Christopher wasn't ready. But we still did lots together and went on chaperoned walks around campus. (thanks Lydia and Hannah!)

First official photo as a couple! After Bible study that night, we were walking back to campus and we stopped in Jtop to chat. Christopher then asked if I wanted to start dating and I said yes!

New Years found Christopher driving from Knoxville, TN to visit me we had our first official date where Christopher took me to my favorite restaurant, we watched the sunset by the lake, and then walked around downtown Raleigh.

Birthday date to Bagels & Joe, our favorite place to eat in Seward

We went to our first Pro-Life March together, with our friends Hannah and Jordan. I love that we can stand up together to speak for the lives that can't speak for themselves.

We went ice skating with our friend group and he pulled me around the ice half the time!

Spring break found us in Colorado for a ski/snowboarding trip with Christopher's parents

We went to the school dance together and practiced some of the swing moves we'd been learning in swing club!

Happy Easter! We both stayed in Seward for this Easter and celebrated with friends.

Ice cream as a treat to get us through the rest of the semester.

5 month anniversary!

We attended our friends Johnny and Anna's wedding. It was our first official wedding as a couple and I caught the bouquet. I guess you could say that Christopher got the memo on what came next...

NJ 4th of July celebration and fireworks!

He took me on a walk at the end of our NJ/NY trip and got down on one knee. We don't have a photo of the moment but we have the joy afterwards of telling friends and family.

We attended another wedding, this time as an engaged couple.
