What are the dates?
Monday, May 18th, 2026- Friday, May 22nd, 2026
Do I have to stay for all the nights?
No, you do not need to stay for all the nights leading up to the wedding. We will be happy no matter how many days you are with us.
South Tyrol Guest Pass
The hotel provides an included South Tyrol Guest Pass, which allows unlimited travel on all public transportation throughout South Tyrol.
As we get closer to the wedding, you will receive an email from the hotel with instructions to check in, along with details on how to set up your mobile Guest Pass on your phone. The pass will be active starting the morning of Monday, May 18, so you can use it to travel to the hotel upon arrival.
For more information about what the Guest Pass includes, please visit the link below:

Do I need a passport or Visa?
Yes, you will need a passport! You must have a valid passport that remains valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date. If you don’t have a passport yet, don’t wait until the last minute, processing can take up to 6 weeks (or longer during busy seasons). Be sure to apply as soon as possible to avoid any travel complications!
If you are a U.S. citizen, you do not need a visa to travel to Italy for tourism as long as your stay is 90 days or less within a 180-day period.
How do I book a night at the hotel?
No need to book your stay at the hotel, once you RSVP, you will be assigned a room! Unless you choose to stay at the hotel either before or after the wedding dates, then you can book through the hotel's website: https://www.hotel-amadeus.it/de/services/
Do we need to get the wedding couple a gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. While gifts are not necessary, we are grateful for your love and support.
Breakfast??
Great question! Breakfast will be included every morning at the hotel from 7:30 AM- 10 AM. lt and will feature exclusively Italian products. You'll enjoy homemade jam (“marmellata fatta da mamma”), organic bread from the local village bakery, and rest assured, there will be no half-baked or packaged items. It’s a delightful way to start each day with authentic flavors
Is there AC at the hotel?
No, but hear me out Michiganders, May is a beautiful time in northern Italy with the average daytime highs of 64–72°F & nighttime lows 45–52°F.
I don't speak Italian, what do I do?
Don’t worry! The staff at the hotel speak English, and most Italians do as well. However, since we’ll be in Northern Italy, which is less frequented by tourists, it might be helpful to know a few basic phrases. They actually speak mostly German in northern Italy, surprisingly enough!
If you’d like to practice, you can join me, Abby, on Duolingo, and we can attempt to speak Italian together! It could be a fun way to immerse ourselves in the culture.
What if I can't make it?
We completely understand that life happens, and sometimes plans change. No one can predict the future, and unforeseen circumstances or emergencies may arise. If you find yourself unable to attend, please reach out to either Justin or Abby
