Abby and Josh both love a good story...

Months before Abby and Josh met, their friends Brian and Maggie Rager knew they’d hit it off. However, Abby and Josh were skeptical to the idea, especially considering they lived 6 hours apart.

On July 22, 2022, Abby and Josh first laid eyes on one another at the rehearsal for the Ragers' wedding. Josh's attention became fixed on the charismatic woman wearing grey scrubs his friend had been telling him about. Abby was excited to discover that Josh was very handsome and proceeded to creepily stare at him from behind her sunglasses throughout the rest of the rehearsal. It was not until the rehearsal dinner later that evening that Abby and Josh finally spoke (yep... Josh was definitely too intimidated to approach her earlier).

Sitting across from one another at the rehearsal dinner that evening (carefully orchestrated by Maggie Rager), Abby and Josh engaged in mildly awkward conversation. Josh was mesmerized by her nature, her laugh, and her vivacity. Though Josh’s friend expressed how great of a person Abby is, Josh was captivated by her that night (and has been ever since). Abby was smitten with Josh's sweet, shy personality and adorable smile. She was excited to spend time with him at the wedding and enjoyed attempting to make him laugh (and has been ever since).
