From 2018 to 2022, Aden and I were both students at Wofford College. Despite its cozy size of 1,600 students, somehow we never officially crossed paths. Fast forward a year after graduation, and Aden decided to make the first move in true Gen Z style — sliding into my DMs on Instagram. I had a hunch this might happen, especially with all those LinkedIn notifications from him checking out my profile. Since our first date, we've been nearly inseparable. As we got to know each other, everything fell into place effortlessly, and we quickly began envisioning a life together, finding joy in the simple moments along the way.

What we cherish most about our story is how it beautifully showcases God’s perfect timing. If we’d met at Wofford, our relationship might never have unfolded. But God had a plan and nudged Aden to reach out at just the right moment. Aden couldn’t shake the feeling that he needed to ask me out, and it is now clear that it was God saying, "She is your future." We’re thrilled for the next chapter of our lives and can't wait to celebrate our wedding with our beloved family and friends.
