Kinzi is my cousin — since we were little we’ve been dreaming about our wedding days. I consider Kinzi my “maid of Laughter” because she is one of the funniest people I know. She keeps my spirits up and makes me laugh way too hard. There’s no way I could ever get married without her standing by my side. We've both dreamed about this for so long, and now we're getting married 12 days apart - nothing seems more fitting.

Ivy Adair was one of my very first friends when I moved to Texas in 2010. She has the most joyful personality and has such a heart for serving others. Whenever we're together we laugh hard and usually end up singing ridiculous broadway music together. One of my longest friendships - and I'm so thankful for her! We literally have talked about this season of life since our band days in middle school, and it's so fun to finally be here - and I'm grateful that she's still in my life to be able to stand next to me on the happiest day.

Remedy is one of the wisest people I know. I met Remedy my sophomore year of college at DBU, but didn't become friends with her until my junior year - I really was missing out. We lived together my last semester of college, and while we hated where we lived, those were some of the best memories. She easily is one of the funniest people I know, and we have very similar mindsets on things. She is the kind of friend that I wish everyone had. She loves people so well - has such a servant's heart, and always, ALWAYS, points me and others back to Jesus. Literally can't imagine a life without Remi-Ma in it!

I've known Maddy for 10 years now -- we went Legacy Christian together and really have always been friends. She is one of the most consistent people I know - always figuring out how to understand and love those around her as best as she can. She has such an optimistic spirit and caring heart. We've travelled to Seattle together, drove to the sand dunes, and I've even glued things to her face for photos -- she is my most creative friend, and I love that we are constantly pushing each other to be our best.

I met Shelby my sophomore year of college at DBU. I literally never saw her without Remedy - whenever we would hangout, I just remember watching Shelby do things and just giggling to myself. She has such a free spirit and fun way of living life - it seriously makes my heart smile. She prays for her friends, she cares for her friends, and she seeks to love her friends the way they deserve to be loved. I so miss the days that we would be the only people in the townhome at DBU and we would walk into each other's rooms and demand to go get coffee and listen to The Band Camino the entire way there. Don't worry Shleb, there will be some Band Camino played at the reception just for you.

Caroline has been my friend for 10 years now -- there are some really bad photos of us from middle and high school that we cannot help but make fun of. What I love about Caroline is that we both feel free to be ourselves around each other. We know that we love each other, but we will make fun of each other in front of each other. She is such a fun friend to have, and I'm glad that I have that in my life. When Ben and I started dating, I would just constantly text Caroline about how much I liked him. We got lunch right at the beginning of quarantine and I remember telling him, "I'm scared we're going to get married really soon" -- and now look where we are!

Alissa is one of my most surprising friendships - not because of who she is, but because of how much a friend she became so fast. We were friends during college, but really my last semester at DBU is when we became close. I actually think Alissa was the very first person I admitted my feelings for Ben to. We would stay up late working together, would drive to get coffee with Shelby early in the mornings, and would both spend too much time making sure things were aesthetically pleasing. Alissa is such a thorough person - if she is going to do something, she is going to do it the best that she can. There have been too many times where I've literally looked at her and said "oh my gosh I don't know what I would do without you" because she always has a resolution to any and every problem. So with that being said, I don't know what I would do without Alissa on my wedding day.

Sloan is Ben's sister - who I actually knew before I ever knew Ben. When I interned at FBC Frisco she was a senior, so we got to go to Gatlinburg, TN together. It's so funny looking back and having no clue that I would be marrying her brother. Sloan has such a gentle heart and really wants the best for others. She speaks so kindly and cares so much about others. Cannot believe we are here, but I am so excited to be gaining a new sister in Sloan!
