Celebrating With Love, In Memory of Mike

We want to take a moment to honor Connor’s brother, Michael Henry, who passed away in a California avalanche on February 17, 2026. Mike lived a life full of adventure and passion, sharing his love for the mountains with others as a guide. He was a great man who meant so much to so many and will be deeply missed.	While we carry his memory with us, we are also choosing to celebrate this day fully — a day rooted in love, commitment, and the beginning of our next chapter together. We know Mike would want nothing more than for us to embrace this moment with joy.

Our Wedding

We both attended Drew University, but during our time there, we only vaguely knew of each other. Fast forward to COVID—Connor started a fitness page, and Abby decided to send him a DM “asking for a workout.” (Yes, that was her version of making the first move.) We went on our first date at Marie’s in Madison, NJ, and from that night on, we’ve been inseparable.

After dating in New Jersey, we moved in together in Madison for a little over a year. That’s where our little family began, and we adopted our first “child,” Miss Daisy the Cat, who quickly became the queen of the house. We loved our time in NJ, but we were ready for a new adventure, so we packed up and moved to Florida to start the next chapter of our lives together.

We fell in love with life in Tampa — the sunshine, the water, and being close to family made it feel like home right away. Daisy adjusted quickly too, especially after we adopted her little brother, Mr. Bear. Now the four of us make one happy little family. On May 31, 2024, Connor proposed on Davis Islands at Abby’s favorite spot from growing up in Tampa. It was simple, meaningful, and perfect — just like us. Now we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
