Abby and Eli met at UW La Crosse both as seniors in college. In usual Abby fashion, she was very nervous prior to their first date at The Crow, but as soon as they got to talking it was so easy and natural. A few weeks later on November 29th 2020, Eli asked Abby to be his girlfriend. He has now said he needed to make sure to ask her out by her birthday (December 3rd) which wasn’t too far away. They continued dating throughout the rest of their time at UWL. In July of 2021, Abby moved to Phoenix, Arizona to teach and explore. Eli stuck by her the entire time. Two years of long distance consisted of facetime door dash dates, lots of phone calls, and best of all visits to and from Arizona and Wisconsin. At the end of May 2023, Abby came back to Wisconsin and moved to Sheboygan to be with Eli. They are so happy she did because on July 13, 2024, they got engaged!!
