The attire is black tie optional. The wedding party will be in tuxedos, but guests are welcome to wear suits and dresses of any length.

The ceremony starts at 6 p.m., sharp. Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony to find parking, find your seat, and enjoy the event.

The Donnelly House does not have a dedicated parking lot, but there is ample parking spaces around the venue. Guests who do not feel comfortable parking downtown Birmingham are encouraged to use Lyft and Uber.

We are kindly requesting that only our family bring their children. While we love our friend's kiddos, the Donnelly House is not kid friendly so we would like to limit the number of little ones.

We are kindly requesting an unplugged ceremony, meaning we wish that guests refrain from using their cell phone once they reach their seat for the ceremony. We want all of our guests to be fully present for our special day. A pair of professional photographers, as well as video team have been hired for capturing our ceremony moments. Phones and photos are absolutely allowed at our reception.

We have a limited room block at the Kelly Hotel. If that block is full, or you would like additional lodging recommendations please reach out to Abby or James! Birmingham is packed with fun hotels, and Air BNBs in a variety of spots around town in our favorite areas.

The ceremony will be outside with minimal shade, but hand fans will be provided. The reception will be a hybrid of indoor/outdoor with large fans to keep everyone cool. There will be water, lemonade, and tea to keep people hydrated.
