To start off, we need to get this out of the way. We both remember two different accounts of how we first met. Now, I (Josh) remember our first interaction one way but to be honest I think Abby is right but I just don’t remember it so here is my account:

We were freshman in college and terrified of coronavirus propaganda. Not really all the freshman paid no attention to it and were running around campus meeting people and making new friends like usual just with masks on. My new friends and I were walking around messing with strangers because it proved to be successful in either adding people to our already bloated friend group or making enemies to destroy in intramurals. Eventually we made our way into the newest dormitory, West Campus, and went to the top floor. There we found a pretty little blonde lady on her laptop like a nerd doing homework. So I decided to start asking her heavy-handed political questions to gauge who this person was. Also we were both dating other people at the time so neither one of us thought much of it. Oh, and we pretty much disagreed on everything. We still played sports together here and there but didn’t think much of each other.

Eventually, I got dumped and she did the dumping of the previous relationship going into sophomore year. I didn’t want to date fora while because women are confusing. However 3 months into sophomore year we started flirting a bit and I realized I don’t really want to date right now, but I really didn’t want to miss out on Abby Vowell. I’d be a fool. And I almost was.

Eventually she asked me out after a month or two of “talking” and we have happily hit the road after that. We both saw major spiritual changes in one another through those times and continue to see them today that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
