The year was 2015 and Leo had just transferred to the University of Utah. On his very first day moving into the Sage Point dorms, he ran into a beautiful girl in the stairwell. Little did he know it was his future wife, Abby. Leo always wanted the opportunity to take her on a date and the chance finally came a year later. Leo and all his romantic wisdom took Abby to see the Revenant. He later admits this wasn’t the best first date idea.

However, what grew from this experience was the most beautiful friendship between Leo and Abby. Over the next few years, they grew closer and closer and by 2018 they viewed each other as best friends. Later that year, Leo moved to Las Vegas, but they still kept in touch.

A couple years later, Leo moved back to Salt Lake. On the night of September 20th, 2020, Leo and Abby’s mutual friend Luke Johnson was having a birthday dinner. Luke invited Leo, and his girlfriend, Lola (Abby’s best friend) invited Abby. When Abby and Leo saw each other for the first time they realized how much they had missed each other, and they spent all night catching up. The sparks were flying, and it was like all the stars had aligned for them to finally be more than friends. Their wonderful friendship gave them the most beautiful foundation to an everlasting love, and they have been living out their fairytale life together ever since.
