Abby and Derrick met through mutual friends.

They still joke about the moment Abby arrived wearing driving gloves. Derrick teased her aimlessly for that!

Later in the evening Derrick did 40 push-ups trying to impress her and ended up ripping every single button off his shirt.

Abby enjoyed his sense of humor and Derrick was constantly making her laugh.

After a few short months, Abby took the leap and moved to Alberta to be with Derrick.

They continue to fall in love with each other everyday. So much so, that Derrick proposed after almost 4 years together by surprising Abby with a gorgeous helicopter ride through the mountains. When they landed in front of a waterfall, Derrick went down on one knee.

And so together they are building a life they love.

They continue to make happy memories together as new home owners and dog parents to the sweetest little puppy Dozer. With so much to look forward to; one thing is for sure, is that they cant wait to spend the rest of their lives by each others side!
