It's a wonder they didn't cross paths before meeting in a bar during Covid! Both Marshal and Abby went to St. Maragret of York, brother and sister high schools (Ursuline and Moeller) and went to UC. Not only that, but Marshal was also a practice player for the women's volleyball team and Abby was on the team... four years later.

Thanks to Proof in Mt. Lookout and Marshal's pool skills, the inevitable happened and Marshal and Abby started dating 4 years ago. A couple years later they moved in together in good ol' Dayton, Kentucky and have had an incredible time making their house a home.

They now have two little fur babies, Tater and Tots, and continue to stay busy with volleyball, spending time with friends and family, going on adventures, and having the occasional drink or two.

June 8th, 2024 Marshal decided to pop the question at the Krone Conservatory and the rest is history!
