Our story is one of God’s perfect timing and His unwavering faithfulness.
In February 2024, while I was still living in Birmingham, I came home for the weekend. One of my dearest friends, Maddie, invited me to the Mill Jam in Eufaula —and though I didn’t know it then, that night would change my life forever. Zac and I spent the evening together, talking, laughing, and dancing. By the end of the night, he asked me on our first date.
We went out before I returned to Birmingham, and it quickly became clear that there was something special between us - something only God could orchestrate. Despite the distance, we continued to stay connected and made time for each other whenever we could.
Not long after, the Lord opened a door: I started my job in Dothan sooner than expected and moved back home. From that point on, we were nearly inseparable. As we grew together, it became evident that God was writing our love story—one filled with grace, joy, and a deep sense of peace.
Throughout the year, we prayed, laughed, and leaned into the love God was growing between us. Then, in February, almost one year after we met, he proposed. With full hearts and faith in the One who brought us together, we joyfully said yes to forever.
We are so excited to begin this new chapter as husband and wife, grounded in love and rooted in Christ.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13
