Abby and Lex met online in January of 2021, talking for almost 3 months before meeting in person. They were like passing ships in the night--they both went to the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), worked for the dining services on campus, and had classes in the same buildings, but didn't meet until after Lex had already graduated. They spent the first 2 years of their relationship doing long distance for 6 months a year, with Lex working at Badlands National Park in South Dakota. In 2023, Abby and Lex moved into their first apartment in Rapid City, SD. Often described as "polar opposites," Abby and Lex are a prime example of how "opposites attract." Come April 25th, Abby and Lex will have been together for 5 years.
