Jordyn's POV:
If you know anything about Abel and I, you know that we love going to the movies! Unsurprisingly, that's where our love story first began. I was supposed to be going to the movies with my friend Mag to see The Chosen Christmas, and did not realize that boys were going to be meeting us there until about five minutes before we had to leave. I am pretty sure I was in sweatpants and slippers! I quickly changed into something more presentable!
Fast forward to the movie theatre when Zac texts Mag saying they are going to be about 20 minutes late. (Great, first boys were coming and now they are late too??) Once they get there, Mag asks if I want to go give them their tickets to get in, so I do. I am waiting in the lobby and they walk in.
I see Abel walk in and my heart speeds up! I instantly look down because he is the most handsome man I have ever seen, but I can't seem too interested right? Gotta play "Hard-to-get!"
They get their popcorn and drinks and we all head back into the theatre. I'm sitting between Mag and Zac and all I can think about is how in the world I am going to talk to this guy? The movie ends and we all decide to go get food together. I remember walking into the restaurant and running to the bathroom to make sure I looked okay(ish); I even did about 20 air squats!! I walked to the table and Abel is at the opposite side, farthest from me (what ever happened to wing men and women, ya know?) Anyways, Abel not only was super cute, but he was freaking hilarious too! He kept telling stories and cracking jokes and I felt myself smiling all night long. I also found out that he loved Jesus! Um #1 thing I was looking for in my future husband (check)! We can just say that he was checking all the marks.
The night came to an end, and the boys headed back to Panama City and Mag and I headed back to my apartment. We were getting gas and Zac called Mag and said that "he already dropped Abel off, but wanted to know what I thought of Abel." We could very clearly hear the two boys talking, so we knew Abel was still there.
This was the point that I knew the interest was mutual! (YAY!) The next day I ended up following Abel on instagram (what happened to me playing hard-to-get?) and we set up another group date. This time we were going to an escape room and then dinner.
During this group date, Abel and I set up our next three solo dates, and the rest is history! It honestly was love at first sight!
