Love Knows no Distance. This was the name of the military page while Luke was gone. And we have learned how true that is. Apart for 15 months, seeing each other for a total of 3 weeks in that span, and an ocean between us, we have learned how strong we can be. And more importantly, how strong our love for each other is, even when we feel weak. Through all of the struggles that come with deployment, we have learned that we've got each other's 6. (for those of you that are not police or military, I've got his back and he's got mine....awww).

Lucas and I met in 2015 at my cousin Devon's birthday party - he stood up to give me his chair and between his chivalry and his beautiful red beard, I was smitten. Dating didn't last long as I somehow managed to sweep him off his feet too! We got engaged in 2016 and now, two years later, we are finally SO EXCITED to celebrate our lives together with the ones we love!
