Abbie and Mike matched on Tinder on 11/19/20. Abbie messaged Mike first while she was sitting in the Minneapolis Airport for a layover to visit her brother in CA. Abbie vividly remembers sending the message while staring at the Prince novelty store from the airport bar. For the next week Abbie traveled through Yosemite and the PCH with her brother Zach and their friend Sam. In between walking, sleeping in a van, and eating canned soup, Abbie talked to Mike everyday. Mike, during this time, was at the Addison Compound in Vermont, debating whether or not he should go into the syrup industry with his friend Tom.

Two weeks later, on December 6th, when Abbie was back in Somerville, Abbie and Mike met for the first time at the Painted Burro in Davis Square. Mike was worried he was going to be late so he ran there. Abbie was actually late because she walked there. Abbie and Mike talked about sailing (Abbie doesn't know how to sail), the Midwest, allergies (Mike almost ordered Mango guacamole), and more. They ended up going out in Davis almost every week afterwards. Fast forward to 2023, where Abbie and Mike live outside of Davis Square with their 3 year old cat, Sansa. Abbie still doesn't know how to sail, but she does like sitting at the Eastern Pool looking at the sailboats. On March 18, 2023, Abbie and Mike were walking around Walden Pond (almost exactly 2 years after they did that for the first time) when Mike proposed. We are so thankful for all of the love and support we've received over the last few years and are excited to make it official!

Hi everyone! For those who may be flying in, the best option would be the Boston Logan Airport (BOS). From there, you are about a 30 minute drive to the Marriott Peabody. The Marriott Peabody provides free parking for folks who may be driving in for the weekend. While we won't be able to offer transportation to the ceremony we will be providing a shuttle to and from the Marriott and reception venue.

Boston Marriott Peabody

For dinner &amp; dancing, we arerunning a shuttle between theMarriott and Eastern YachtClub. The shuttle is doing 2pick-ups from the Marriott,departing at 4:30pm &amp; 5:30pm. At the end of the evening, theshuttle leaves Eastern at 10pm&amp; 11pm to return to theMarriott. It is about a 30-minute ride each way.

Until 1814 it was called&nbsp;Gale's Head Fort
