Our Wedding

Our story began before we ever met…Each of us was saved by Jesus Christ and given new life in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). Standing only in grace, we had each been living and pursuing Christ in our individual lives. Separately, the Lord was preparing us for one another. In His perfect wisdom and kindness, the Lord chose this year to bring our stories together.We see His hand in every detail. A beautiful reminder of the goodness of God in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). We are filled with joy as we look ahead to what He has prepared for our lives. While we treasure reflecting on the gracious way the Lord brought us together, our hearts are even more eager to fix our eyes on the race He has set before us.Our story began in the lobby of Austin Ridge Bible Church. On Sunday, April 27, 2025, after the service in the crowded lobby, mutual friends introduced us.(Harrison here) All I could see was this shining girl in a green dress. From the moment I saw Abigail, I was captivated by the joy and love that radiated from her. I had to know who she was. When we said good-bye, I prayed that the Lord would help me see her again, but I didn’t know how because she had been visiting my church that day, and I didn’t get her number! Still, something in me knew, even from that brief meeting, that she would be the one I married. I even told a couple of my closest friends. That’s how I knew that the next time I saw her, I would have to ask her out.The Lord did not make me wait long for His answer! In a city as big as Austin, we both ended up at the very same brunch spot, Swedish Hill! I was meeting my parents, and Abigail was having brunch with her friend.(Abigail here). I spotted Harrison walking into Swedish Hill to my utter surprise (and joy)…twice in one day seeing Harrison Tognela? No way! Obviously, me and my friend knew we had to walk over and say hello. In the middle of the lunch hour bustle, Harrison asked for my number. Yes, I did double check I put my number in correctly.(Harrison here) That evening I texted Abigail and asked her on a date. We set a date and a time. Friday evening, May 2nd, exactly one year to the day before our wedding.“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”We texted back and forth that week and then met for dinner. We talked until the restaurant staff let us know it was closing time. And as they say, the rest is history. We have sensed the Lord drawing us closer and closer together each and every day. We can say to all of you that , “[We] have found the one [our] soul loves” (Song of Solomon 3:4).Looking back, we see the Lord’s hand woven through every detail, aligning our paths in ways only He could. Before meeting, God had used sunshine and shadow to humble us and prepare us to meet each other. All His ways are good and wise.Our prayer is simple: that the Lord would use our lives, together, for His glory. Thank you for sharing in our joy! We are grateful!

When is the wedding?Our wedding will take place on May 2, 2026 at 5:00 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Where is the ceremony and reception?Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Spain Ranch in Jenks, OK. What time should I arrive?Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for seating and parking. What is the dress code?We encourage guests to dress in cocktail attire. Is the wedding outside?Yes, the wedding is outside! Are children invited?While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a night out! Will there be parking available?Yes! Parking will be available on-site at the venue. Will there be food and drinks?Yes! Dinner and drinks will be provided—we promise no one will leave hungry. Do you have a registry?Your presence is the greatest gift! However, if you’d like to bless us further, our registry can be found on the Registry page of our website. Can I bring a plus-one?If your invitation includes a plus-one, they are more than welcome.
