Michael's Perspective:
When I first saw Abi, I thought to myself, "If there was one girl in the world who would immediately reject me it would be her." She's the most beautiful I've ever met. We met through my grandma a year or two after that, and became very good friends. I wanted to ask her out, but God told me to wait. He told me if I waited and had patience she would be mine. It was very hard, I learned a lot of lessons, matured, and became a man. We then got to a point in our friendship when we realized that we wanted to move our relationship forward and I asked her dad for his permission to date her. We've been dating for 3 years now and we've been wanting to get married longer than that. She's a woman I could've never even dreamt of, it's still crazy to me that God would bless me with her, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life serving her and serving God alongside my best friend, my wife.

Abi's Perspective:
Michael and I met at Northside church, which I have been attending for the majority of my life. I remember the first time he came to service: I saw him from across the room and let's just say that I definitely don't recal what that week's sermon was about (sorry Pastor Josh), because I was too busy wondering who this new boy with the amazing hair was. We got to know each other well through weekly attendance at youth group where I grew to greatly admire Michael. After about a year of friendship we realized the potential that our relationship had. I realized how much really liked this guy. That is when Michael asked for my dad's permission to court me. Over the course of our over two year long dating relationship, I fell in love with my best friend. On May 29th, 2022, when Michael asked me to be his wife, "yes" was the easiest answer I have ever given. Since we met in 2018, Michael and I have experienced together: growth, loss, long distance, and many many blessings through it all. This is only the beginning of our story, and I would rather live out the time I have on this earth beside no man other than Michael Bobeda. I cannot wait to publicly declare my life-long commitment, before the Lord, family and friends, to my best friend, my husband.
