How should I RSVP?
To RSVP, click the "RSVP" tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. You can also mail back the physical RSVP card included in your invitation. Kindly RSVP before Wednesday, August 13th. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as 'no' since we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline - you will be missed!
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited venue capacity and our planning, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are unsure, please text one of The Brides to clarify.
Are kids welcome?
Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids and teens. Kids who are invited were included on the invite envelopes and are listed on the RSVP guest list. If we are unable to invite your children, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and hope you can make it to celebrate with us!
Is there a dress code?
Yes! The dress code is Formal with ties optional for those wearing suits. We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for The Brides: whites, ivories and creams. Also, keep in mind the weather here in Charleston in September.
Examples of what to wear
Women: Consider a floor-length gown, a cocktail dress (knee-length or midi), a dressy jumpsuit, or a pantsuit.
Men: A tuxedo is acceptable, but a dark two-or-three piece suit is also appropriate.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony & reception will be outdoors, with cocktail hour inside and on the porches.
What do I do if I am late for the ceremony?
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:30 pm. We recommend guests arrive between 5:00-5:15 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, we ask that you wait until the ceremony is over to walk up to the venue. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight and we will see you shortly after we say "I do!" Thank you for understanding.
Can we take our own pictures & videos throughout the day?
Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken. You are more than welcome to take photos and videos throughout the course of cocktail hour and the reception!
